Day out at the Championships!

Wimbledon was awesome yesterday, I had so much fun there! Our school had a couple of tickets on Centre Court and the rest on Court 1 so we rotated a lot. I got to see Federer live which was awesome ;-) He was so amazing, if you think he hits hard on tv you've seen nothing until you see him live!! I met a few players inlcuding John Lloyd and Fabrice Santoro which was cool. I also got to see Baghdatis (who's in the mens semis), and Mirinyi(who knocked out James Blake!) practice along with Groenfield and Shaugnessy practice who are some of my favourite players in the women's game! I got some strawberries and cream as you just have to if you go to Wimbledon, and then watched the match on Court 1. It was between Stephanek and Bjorkman, and went on for over 4 hours!!! I didn't watch it all, and everyone wanted it to finish so they could see Nadal, but still it was a great day!

Here's a few pics from the day:

  • How are you all doing? Chris is currently travelling across America and I'm flying out to Albania tomorrow, but we're both going to Momentum and Greenbelt this summer. Just wondered what you lot are up to...?!

  • Hey Taylor!

I'm fine, just been on a Christian youth camp for 2 weeks in Devon which was awesome. Had 2 friends to stay from Germany the week before, which was fun. Summer has been good! Going to Soul Survivor tomorrow which I can't wait for, and then we're going to Greenbelt too, so maybe we'll see you both there. There's so many cool bands there this year!! I'm not sure when you wrote this, so you may or may not be in Albania still, was it good? Why did you go there? What else have you been up to?

    Be blessed

  • This is my first time on this blog. I love to play tennis but never been to a professional match. I mainly just play for the exercise now.
